Club Station

The operating positions:

The main radio is an FT-2000.  It is used primarily as the cw station.  The FT-950 is our ssb station and the radio we use for Field Day.  Note the beautiful plaque from the ARRL 2008 November SS.  Our club placed 1st in the Low Power, Central Division category for SSB.

The HF antenna is a Gap Titan DX.  It was chosen for it's multi band capabilities.  The club plans to add a 160 dipole as time permits.  The antennas are mounted on top of our building.  To avoid putting holes in the roof, the 5 foot tripod is mounted on a tee formed by a piece of12 ft and a 10 ft 4x6 pressure treated lumber.  The antenna is also guyed to the roof edges.

The VHF/UHF antenna is a Diamond vertical mounted on a smaller version of the base.

Randy, N9LTA is sealing the last guy connection.
